The primary goal of this special issue is to raise awareness on Cervical cancer which is one of the preventable cancer and is the most aggressive one as well. Incidence of Cervical cancer is increasing worldwide with typically advanced disease at the time of diagnosis . January has been allotted as a month for cervical cancer awareness. My Aim of special issue is to help creating awareness for its prevention and screening. As with the help of vaccine, early screening it can be prevented easily especially in developing countries .Cervical malignancy being preventable disease can be caught in time by spreading awareness.
